About Me

GOLD COAST, Australia
I like to help. I already spend my lunch hours at school helping out by doing B.O.S.E (Beautify Our School Environment) and picking up Rubbish, and also being a Games Leader, where I run sports and games for younger students. I wanted to volunteer for other community groups, but I have found out that I am too young for a lot of places. I need to be 14 to help at Riding for the Disabled, and 18 for the Animal Welfare League. Mum and I started looking for other ways I can help, and make a difference. I have now started a weekend Pamphlet Run, to save up enough to sponsor a child. I need about $500 a year for this, but I am determined to achieve this goal. In the meantime, I am going to get involved in lots of other little things, and help out little by little, because a little Faith, can go a long way

Faith and Yofan - The Friendship Begins

Well after months of my Family and I delivering pamphlets every Saturday, I have raised enough to Sponsor a Child.

We chose to go with http://www.plan.org.au/  as it is community based, and we could sponsor a child from Asia, which means we are a lot more likely to be able to one-day afford to go and visit the child.

So as of 8.15pm QLD time, I am the proud sponsor of Yofan, an 11 year old Girl from Indonesia.

I should recieve my sponsor pack in the mail soon, and my online account with photos of Yofan should be available within 24 hours.

I am so excited and can't wait to be able to share the new friendship with you all.

C U P C A K E D A Y

Thankyou everyone for your donations for Cupcake day.
I made 5 batches of cupcakes and took some to school for the staff room, and Mum took some to work for her staff room.  So far I have raised $40, which is double what I was aiming for.  I am very happy, and proud to have helped protect the animals.

Yummy Cupcakes 100% made by me.

Thank you to all my supporters

I want your old phones!

Hi everyone,

I have had permission to take cupcakes to school and my Mum's work for cupcake day so I will be busy baking this weekend.

I have another little project as well.
Does anyone have old cellphones laying around, broken, or just not working?  We can donate them to the You Can (Youth Cancer Campaign).  We have some free post envelopes being sent from the charity, so all you need to do is pop your phone in and pop it in a post box.

They will recycle the parts for refurbishment, and raise funds to help Youth Cancer.

My sister and I went through our toybox and found 4 of Mum's old phones, that we were using as toys, and now they are going to a good cause.   It's great - the campaign isn't asking for $$ they are asking for your old phones (rubbish).
If you want to donate a phone, let me know and I'll tell you what to do.

CUPCAKE DAY AUGUST 16

My first official fundraiser will be CUPCAKE DAY for the RSCPA.
I love animals, and have a Dog (Roly) and a Cat (Tilly) at home, that I love very much.

I will be baking some cupcakes, and my Mum is going to take them to her work, and we'll collect Donations.
Anyone who wants me to bake them some cupcakes, let me know.
Otherwise you can donate to support me by clicking on this link.

Every little bit helps, Thanks for your support.
